Apptec NEXT Scores ("we," "our," or "the App") provides schedules, results, standings, team information, match locations and community predictions for youth soccer. This Privacy Policy applies to the iOS and iPadOS App and to apptech99.com.
1. Information handled by the App
Information stored on your device
The App stores preferences such as language, selected division and age group, favorite team, onboarding status, cached schedules and standings, and other settings on your device. This information supports app functionality and is not used to create a personal profile.
Community predictions
If you vote on a match prediction, the App creates a random device identifier. The server receives a one-way hash of that identifier, the match identifier, your selected team and the update time. This allows one current vote per installation and displays aggregate percentages. We do not require a name, account or email to vote.
Support requests
If you contact support, we receive the name, email address, topic and message you submit. We use this information only to respond, investigate the request, prevent abuse and maintain necessary support records.
Technical logs
Our hosting provider may automatically process standard server logs, which can include IP address, date and time, requested page or endpoint, device/browser information and error details. We use these logs for security, reliability and troubleshooting.
2. Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We may receive transaction status and entitlement information needed to provide premium access. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Apple's handling of information is governed by Apple's own privacy policies.
3. Notifications and maps
If you enable match notifications, notification preferences are managed by the App and your Apple device. When you tap a match address, the App asks iOS to open an installed maps application. Apptec NEXT Scores does not request or track your precise location for this feature. The selected maps provider may process information under its own terms and privacy policy.
4. How we use information
- Provide schedules, standings, team pages, predictions and premium features.
- Remember settings and improve performance through local caching.
- Aggregate prediction votes and help prevent duplicate voting.
- Respond to support requests and correct app data.
- Protect the App, website and backend from fraud, abuse and security threats.
- Meet legal, accounting and platform requirements.
5. Sharing and sale of information
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that host or operate the App and website, with Apple for purchases and platform services, when you intentionally open a third-party maps app, or when required by law. Service providers may process information only for the services they provide to us.
6. Retention and security
Device preferences remain until you change them, delete the App or clear applicable data. Support messages and technical records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, legal and business record purposes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The App presents youth sports information but is not designed to collect personal information from children. No account is required. A child under 13 should not submit the support form; a parent or legal guardian should contact us instead. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
8. Your choices and rights
You may disable notifications in iOS Settings, change your App preferences, stop submitting predictions, or delete the App. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information. Email us to make a request. We may need to verify the request before responding.
9. International processing
Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Applicable safeguards and local laws may differ from those in your country.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App changes or legal requirements evolve. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the App where appropriate.
